چکیده
Erving Goffman's work on interaction in everyday life focuses joint spatio-temporal and face-to-face situations denies the constitution of social via mediatized interaction. In contrast, we argue that shared immersive media such as Social Virtual Reality enable intense, delocalized forms co-present interactions constitute closeness intimacy. By discussing Goffman context current works open up his perspective for mediatization, present an understanding intensity synchronized embodiment—physical, digital, corporeal. On VR platform VRChat, bodies allow intimate corporeal practices, cuddling, dancing, or cybersex. technology facilitates affective-bodily interaction, thereby contributing to negotiation intimacy—despite physical distance. Our findings are based a digital ethnographic analysis lifeworlds practices enthusiast VRChat-users, combined with qualitative semi-structured interviews.

Two and Three-Body Interactions between CO, H2O, and HClO4
Intermolecular interactions of different configurations in the HOClO3···CO and HOClO3···H2O dyad and CO···HOClO3···H2O triad systems have been studied at MP2/6-311++G(2d,2p) computational level. Molecular geometries, binding energies, cooperative energies, many-body interaction energies, and Energy Decomposition Analysis (EDA) were eval...
متن کاملMany-body theory of synchronization by long-range interactions.
Synchronization of coupled oscillators on a d-dimensional lattice with the power-law coupling G(r) = g0/rα and randomly distributed intrinsic frequency is analyzed. A systematic perturbation theory is developed to calculate the order parameter profile and correlation functions in powers of ϵ = α/d-1. For α ≤ d, the system exhibits a sharp synchronization transition as described by the conventio...
متن کاملThe body in the brain: neural bases of corporeal awareness.
Recent studies have begun to unravel the brain mechanisms that underlie the mental representation of the body. Imitation of movements by neonates suggests an implicit knowledge of the body structure that antedates the adult body schema. This can include inanimate objects that bear systematic relations to the body, as shown by the elimination from self awareness of a body part and its associated...
متن کاملBody-ownership for actively operated non-corporeal objects.
Rubber-hand and virtual-hand illusions show that people can perceive body ownership for objects under suitable conditions. Bottom-up approaches assume that perceived ownership emerges from multisensory matching (e.g., between seen object and felt hand movements), whereas top-down approaches claim that novel body parts are integrated only if they resemble some part of a permanent internal body r...
